Swirl PREP is a 1% Hydrogen Peroxide mouthrinse recommended for use prior to the commencement of all dental procedures. The use of a 1% Hydrogen Peroxide mouthrinse helps reduce viral load in the mouth (including the virus that causes Covid-19), which in turn reduces the risk of aerosol transmission. It has been suggested that prior to commencing treatment patients should be asked to undertake a 20 -30 second pre-procedural mouthrinse with a 1% Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthrinse.
